8. After use, unplug the appliance and wait until it has
completely cooled before storing it in a dry place.
NB: If bread becomes lodged in the toaster, unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool before attempting to
remove the bread. Do not damage the internal
components of the appliance or the heating elements
when removing lodged bread.
The 'Defrost' function
The 'Defrost' function enables you to defrost and toast
bread.
1. Complete steps 1 to 4 in the previous section, 'Toasting
bread'.
2. To defrost and toast bread, press the 'Defrost/Toast'
button.
To defrost and reheat bread, press the 'Defrost'
and 'Baguette' buttons.
3. To cancel programming or stop the defrosting process,
press the 'Cancel' button.
4. When the desired browning is achieved, the toaster will
turn off automatically and the defrosted, toasted bread
will be ejected.
The 'Reheat' function
The 'Reheat' function enables you to reheat cold,
previously toasted bread.
