OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The AC adapter is intended for use with Monster Clipper model M08 an
M09 lithium-ion clipper battery with a rated capacity of 5V 1.5A. Plug the AC
adapter/power cord into an outlet at the correct voltage. Plug the adapter
cord into the receptable on the bottom of the clipper (fi gure 1). Make sure
that the clipper is switched OFF when charging. Note that the clipper can be
removed at any time during the charging cycle without harming the clipper or
battery.
The clipper has not been charged at the factory. Please charge the clipper for
about 120 minutes before the fi rst use for maximum performance. You can
keep the clipper plugged into the AC adapter when not in use.
CORDED OPERATION
If the clipper powers OFF in the middle of a clipping
job, the power cord can be attached to continue
use in corded operation. For corded operation,
connect the receptacle on the bottom of the clipper
(fi gure 1). If the battery is completely run down,
allow it to charge for one till two minutes (switched
OFF) before you start using it as a corded clipper.
The clipper will charge at a slower rate while in use
with the cord attached. The AC adapter will maintain
the battery at full charge (switched OFF) . When
the clipper won't be used for a week or more we
recommend that you unplug the AC adapter.
