indicate a value of around 0.3. When the display indicates "BAT LOW", the battery should
be replaced.
4. Place the front side of the indicator on a level part of the material to be investigated.
The measurement direction is formed by the brand name CAISSON (coinciding with the
grain direction.) Ared indicator will light up in case of measurements above 5.5 on the digital
display.
INDICATIONS
In general the read-out should be interpreted as
follows
CONCRETE/
ESTRICH:
DRY
0-5
6-9
MOIST:
normal degree of moisture
WET WET:
too moist for further treatment.
10 and higher
We recommend that you should
wait for the normal moisture
level of 6 – 9
The CAISSON indicator gives an indication of the
moisture present in concrete or Estrich up to about 3
cm deep.
