Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
The device may not be connected to the mains and must be completely switched off
for cleaning and maintenance!
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface.
•
Wipe down the device just with a damp cloth if necessary. Then wipe it down fully
with a dry cloth.
•
Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.
•
Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from
sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device does not
work.

Possible cause
The battery (4) is empty.
The ON / OFF button was not
pressed correctly.
The mains adapter is not
inserted in the plug socket
or the connecting cable (6)
is not connected correctly to
the mains cable of the mains
adapter.
The plug socket is defective.
The device has switched off
automatically after operating
for 15 minutes.
Fix
Charge the battery (see the
"Charging Up the Battery"
chapter).
Press the ON / OFF button
again.
Correct the fi t.
Try another one.
Press the ON / OFF button
again.
