WARNING – Danger of Electric Shock from Damage and
Inappropriate Use!
■
Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket with safety contacts that is properly
installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated.
■
Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the
device.
■
In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development)
and in a thunderstorm, pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket immediately.
■
The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains adapter. Al-
ways pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable to disconnect the device from
the mains power.
WARNING – Danger of Injuries!

Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the
reach of small children and animals.
■
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals.
The mains cable must also be kept out of the reach of children and animals. Other-
wise they might use the cable to pull the device down on themselves.
■
Danger of corrosive injury! If the (rechargeable) battery has leaked, do not allow
your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If
you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately
and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
■
Do not insert any fi ngers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip
during use.
■
Danger of falling! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip
hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and
explosive fumes and substances in the air.
■
Do not use the device under a blanket or similar item or in the vicinity of combustible
material.
■
In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the fl ames with a fi reproof
blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property from (rechargeable)
Batteries
■
The rechargeable battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in
liquids or short-circuited.
