- Before use, check compliance with all safety regulations. Only insert the plug into the
socket after you have done this.
- Push the ON/OFF button to use the device. The device starts its filter operation
(continuous) at low power and including the ioniser. The appropriate indicator lights are lit.
- Use the Timer button to set a certain operating time: 1 x push is 2 hours, 2 x push is 4
hours, 3 x push is 8 hours, 4 x push returns the device to continuous operation. The
appropriate light is lit.
- Use the Speed button to select a ventilator speed (and a power setting). When it is
switched on the device works at low speed (L). Every time you push the button the speed
changes: from L (low) to M (medium) and from M to H (high) and then back to L. The
appropriate light is lit.
When you use the device for the first time allow it to first operate at high speed for half an
hour.
- Use the Ioniser and UV buttons to activate the Ioniser and/or the UV light as you desire.
As standard, only the ioniser works when the device is switched on. Push x 1 to activate the
ioniser and UV light, push x 2 to use only the UV light and push x 3 to deactivate both the
ioniser and UV light.
- Push the ON/OFF button again in order to switch the device off again. Always remove the
plug from the socket after switch the device off.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always switch the device off and remove the plug from the socket
before cleaning or maintenance!
- The plastic housing can be cleaned with a soft, slightly moist cloth (not wet!) and a cleaning
agent that is mild and non-abrasive.
- The 3-in-1 filter block can be carefully cleaned with a brush or vacuum cleaner. Never make
it wet! This filter must be replaced regularly.
Replacement of the 3-in-1 filter block
To enable your device to work optimally you must replace the 3-in-1 filter block regularly. As
the filter block has large filtration surfaces it will be possible to use it for 6 to 12 months under
normal conditions. Continuous use, high ventilator speeds and high levels of contamination
in the air will shorten the life span. A clean environment and low speeds will increase the life
span.
