Malfunctions
The compressor motor
does not start
Compressor running,
but does not build up
adequate pressure

Warning: If pressure switch is defective, do not operate compressor above 80 psi/5.5 bar
Compressor becomes too hot

Possible causes
NOTE: The auto-stop feature of
this unit's pressure switch
automatically stops when the
pressure in the air tank reaches the compressor's motor
60 psi/4.1 bar. This is not a fault
condition and is part of the
normal and expected behavior
of the unit.
No power
Damaged electrical cables or
loose electrical connections
Residual pressure remains
Moisture trap not closed
Leak in air hose or a poor
connection
Defective pressure switch
Room temperature too high
or ventilation is inadequate
Compressor overloaded
Thermal protector has shut
down compressor
Remedy
Once tank pressure drops to 40
psi/2.8 bar, the auto-start
feature automatically restart
Check to make sure the unit is
plugged in and the on/off switch
is in the ''on" position
Specialist workshop
Release the pressure with
depressed airbrush trigger
Close the pressure adjustment
knob
Check all connections and air
hoses for potential leaks
Have pressure switch replaced
by specialist workshop
Ensure adequate room tempe-
rature and appropriate ventilation
Check whether compressor is
suitable for load
Turn off the compressor and
allow unit to cool for at least
30 minutes.
