Operation
To turn on the light, turn on the power supply, e.g. turn on the switch, insert the mains plug, or
activate the connected switching device (infra-red sensor switch). (These components are not
included with the product.)
Cleaning
• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could
damage the casing or cause the light to malfunction.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it. Before cleaning
the product, turn off the mains voltage or disconnect it from the mains, and then let the light
cool down.
• Regularly check that the screws on the cover are secure. Inspect and clean the seal on the
light cover at regular intervals. All other maintenance or repair work should be done by a
technician. Repairs must only be carried out using original replacement parts.
• Do not wear metallic or conductive jewellery such as necklaces, bracelets or rings when
carrying out maintenance work on the product (including cleaning).
• Never point a garden hose or pressure washer at the product (e.g. for cleaning).
• Use a clean, soft and dry cloth to clean the light.
Always ensure that the drainage outlet between the light housing and mounting
housing is unobstructed to allow any water inside the housing to drain away.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household
waste. Always dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
