Intended use
This product is designed for use as an indoor and outdoor light. The light is IP67 certified and
can be mounted and operated both indoors and outdoors. The IP protection rating is only
guaranteed when the product is installed correctly. The light must be mounted in a position that
protects it against moisture, dirt and excessive heat. This product is designed to be mounted
on a floor or wall. The light is not dimmable.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product.
Using the product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In
addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuits, fire, or electric shocks. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Explanation of symbols
The symbol with the lightning in the triangle is used if there is a risk to your
health, e.g. due to an electric shock.
The exclamation mark indicates specific risks associated with handling,
function and use.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
Defective glass must be replaced immediately. The product must not be used
if the protective glass is defective.
You can walk or drive over the product (loads of up to 1000 kg).
This symbol indicates the minimum distance to illuminated surfaces (0.3 m).

The product is dustproof and protected against contact as well as against
temporary submersion under water.
All metal parts that may carry a voltage in the event of a fault during operation
and maintenance must be electrically connected to the protective earth
conductor.
This symbol reminds you to read the operating instructions included with the
product.
Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do
not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to
property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly, as it may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, high humidity,
moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not subject the product to any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, stop using it and prevent
unauthorized use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Always handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or an
authorized repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
• Warning, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
b) Persons and product
• Never cover the product. The surface may get hot during use; covering the product
not only constitutes a fire hazard but may also cause it to overheat, which could
damage the components.
• The exterior of the product may heat up during use. Allow it to cool down before
touching it.
• Keep the product away from flammable materials and objects.
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorations) to the product.
• In the event of any damage (particularly on the housing) that prevents the product
from being operated safely, turn off the power supply immediately and discontinue
use.
• Repairs must only be carried out by a technician using original replacement parts.
• Before connecting the product to the mains, check that your local A/C mains
voltage matches the specifications on the nameplate. Never try to operate the
light using another type of voltage, as this will destroy the product.
• In order to avoid the risk of fire and prevent eye injuries, do not look directly at the
light source or point the light directly at people or animals!
• This product is designed according to protection class I; the earth wire must be
connected.
• This product has an IP67 protection rating. It is fully dustproof and protected
against contact. It is also protected against temporary submersion in water and
can be mounted and operated both indoors and outdoors. However, never place
the product in or under water.
• Always ensure that the power supply is disconnected before mounting or carrying
out other work on the product.
• Ensure that you mount the light correctly (see "Mounting and connection" section),
otherwise there is a risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not mount and use the product in rooms or in adverse environmental conditions
that contain or may contain flammable gases, vapours or dust, as this may result
in an explosion.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
when using the product in industrial facilities.
