Removing the parallel guide
1. Loosen the retaining screws (11).
2. Pull the parallel guide (18) out of the
slide-in openings (10).

1. Press the tension tear protection (22)
away from the recess in the slide shoe
(21).
Attaching the tension tear protection
2. Press the tension tear protection (22)
into the recess in the slide shoe (21).

Operation

Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
Ensure that the ambient tem-
perature does not exceed
50 °C or fall below -20 °C
during work.

Switching on and off

1. Push the battery (23) along the guide
rail into the device. You will hear it
click into place.
Switching on:
2. The rotary wheel (27) on the back of
the device has 6 levels for achieving
the desired speed.
3. To switch the device on, push the on/
off switch (1) forwards.
Switching off:
4. Pull the On/off switch (1) backwards to
switch off the device.
Adjusting the mitre
angle
The adapter for external dust ex-
traction (
1. Remove the Allen key (17) from the
storage area on the side of the device
housing.
2. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (6)
with the Allen key (17).
3. Set the bottom plate (4) to the desired
position (-45° to 45°). A total of 6 lev-
els can be set (-45°, -22.5°, 0°, 15°,
30° and 45°).
4. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (6)
with the Allen key (17).
5. Place the Allen key (17) back into the
storage area on the side of the device
housing
The maximum mitre angle can only
be set on both sides if the protective
cover (15) is folded up or disassem-
bled (see "Attaching/removing the
protective cover") and the tension
tear protection is removed (See "Re-
moving/attaching the tension tear
protection").
Adjusting the stroke
strength
The pendulum movement of the saw blade
can be adjusted with the pendulum stroke
switch (7). There are 3 positions for the
pendulum stroke switch (7):
0 - no stroke
1 - low stroke
2 - medium stroke
