Inserting/removing
the battery
1. To remove the battery (1)
from the device, press
both release buttons (2)
on the battery and pull the
battery out.
2. To insert the battery (1),
push the battery along the
guide rail into the device.
You will hear it click into
place.
Checking the battery
charge level
The battery's (1) charge
level is indicated by the
charge state indicator.
The charge level of the
battery is indicated by illumi-
nation of the corresponding
LED lights while the device is
in operation. Press and hold
the power button to view.

Used batteries
• If a fully recharged battery
lasts for considerably
shorter operating times,
the battery is used up and
needs to be replaced. Only
use an OEM battery pack
replacement available from
our Customer Service.
• Always take heed of
the applicable safety
instructions as well as the
environmental protection
regulations and informa-
tion (see "Cleaning and
Maintenance").
Cleaning
Clean the battery with a dry
cloth or with a paint brush.
Do not use water or metal
objects.
Maintenance
The battery is maintenance
free.
Storage
• Store the battery between
10° C and 40° C. During
storage, avoid extreme
cold or heat so the battery
does not lose power.
