Putting the device into operation
Remove the protective film from the device's
display.
Open the battery compartment (22).
Insert three 1.5 V AAA LR03/R03 batteries into
the battery compartment, making sure the poles
are facing in the right direction.
Close the battery compartment (22).
A signal tone will be emitted.
The device will start receiving the DCF77 radio
signal and the radio tower
(6) will flash on the
display. This process can take 3-10 minutes.
Note: Please do not move the device while
receiving the DCF77 radio signal.
The device synchronizes the internal time
every day from 01:00 to 04:00 on the
hour. If the reception attempt is
unsuccessful, it will be repeated at 05:00 and
06:00. If the reception of the radio signal is
unsuccessful, set the time manually (see default
setting).
If the reception is successful, the radio
symbol
(6) appears permanently and the
basic mode with time (1), day (2), month (3)
and weekday (5) is set automatically in English.
DST (6) appears on the display during daylight
saving time.
