Switch off the microphone by sliding downward the ON/STB/OFF
switch (15) of microphone to OFF position. Make sure that the
power LED (14), which is next to the slide switch, is not glowing
or shining.
Pushes down the plastic knob on the back of the battery
compartment cover (17) and slide the cover upward to open
the battery compartment.

Put back the battery compartment cover. Make sure a click
sound is heard as the battery compartment cover knob is
locked with battery compartment. Remove the battery from
battery compartment if the device is not going to be used
for longer period of time to prevent leaking of battery.
If the Receiver display CH A (2) or CH B (3) is dim or
blinking after sliding the power switch of the microphone to
STB/ON position, replace the battery with new 9V block
battery within 10 min.
In the interest of maintaining a long battery life, alkaline
batteries are strongly suggested to be used.

Check one more time for the volume control rotary knob of
receiver is at minimum position and check the volume of the
audio device, which is connected to the receiver, also at
minimum position.
Switch on the receiver by pressing the POWER switch (1) and
make sure the built-in power LED indicator (5) is shining.
Switch on the microphone by sliding the ON/STB/OFF switch
upward to ON position and make sure the power LED on the
microphone is shining brightly.
Make sure the channel selected on the microphone is same
as the channel selected on the receiver. If not, use the provided
plastic shaft (11) to rotate the channel selector knob of
microphone to match with receiver (or) vice versa.
Now the receiver indicator of channel-A or channel D will light
up depending upon the signal from microphone (diversity). It
means the radio link between microphone and receiver is
activated.

Speak into the microphone at a normal volume and check
for any sound distortion. If the sound is not clear, bring the
microphone closer to receiver (or) try change to alee
channel (or) try to reduce the volume.
Slowly rotate the volume contro! rotary knob of the receiver
toward clockwise (or) anticlockwise to adjust the volume to
desired level. Also adjust the volume of the audio device,
which is connected to the receiver, to desired level.
If the microphone is going to be used for very short period
of time, slide the ON/STB/OFF power switch of the
microphone to STB position. Then the sound will be muted.
To turn OFF the microphone, slide the ON/STB/OFF power
switch of the microphone to OFF position. Make sure the
connected audio device (example: mixer) is turned OFF
before turning OFF the microphone.
