2.2 Preliminary operations
After removing the taping head from its packing,
check that:
- There are no more loose parts left inside the
packing;
- The taping head is the same as the one that was
ordered.
Check to see whether the taping head has been
damaged at all during transport.
2.3 Loading the adhesive tape roll
- Place the adhesive tape roll as shown in Fig. 1,
pushing it until it touches the back lip of the roller
(Fig. 1, Pos. 2); make sure that the adhesive surface
of the type is in the right position;
- Centre the adhesive type roll between the
shoulders of the movable front roller (Fig. 1, Pos.
11).
2.4 Inserting of adhesive tape
- Insert the plastic strip supplied into the taping
head, following the right path for the adhesive
tape as shown in Fig. 2;
- Stick the end of the adhesive tape to the end of the
plastic strip (Fig. 3);
- Pull the plastic strip until the adhesive tape reaches
the first cutting blade as shown in Fig. 4;
- Cut the adhesive tape and return the first cutting
blade to its home position (Fig. 4)

2.2 Voorbereidingen
Na de bandkop uit de verpakking te hebben gehaald,
controleer:
- of er in de verpakking geen stukken achtergebleven
zijn;
- of de bandkop overeenkomt met wat besteld is.
Meld eventuele tansportschade.
2.3 De rol kleefband laden
- Plaats de rol kleefband zoals aangegeven in de Afb.
1 en duw hem tot tegen de achterste aanslag van
de rol (Afb. 1, Pos. 2). Let op de positie van het
klevende oppervlak;
- Centreer de rol kleefband tussen de flanken van de
voorste mobiele rol (Afb. 1, Pos. 11).
2.4 De kleefband invoeren
- Voer het meegeleverde plastic lipje in de bandkop
volgens het correcte parcours van de kleefband
aangegeven in de Afb. 2;
- Laat het uiteinde van de kleefband hechten aan het
uiteinde van het plastic lipje (Afb. 3);
- Trek aan het lipje tot de kleefband ter hoogte van
het eerste snijblad komt gepositioneerd zoals in de
Afb. 4;
- Snij de kleefband af en breng het eerste snijblad in
de ruststand (Afb. 4).
