Operation

1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the powerbase.
2. Open the lid manually and fill the kettle with the desired amount of water.
The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.0 liter.
The water level should not exceed the 'MAX' mark (see the inside), as water may
spill out of the spout when boiling.
Too little water (less than 500 ml) will result in inaccurate temperature indication.
3. Close the lid firmly.
4. Put the kettle back on the powerbase.
5. Connect the plug into a socket.
6. Press down the switch to 'I' position, the indicator will light up. The kettle starts to boil the
water and will switch off automatically (the indicator will be extinguished once the water
has boiled).
You can shut off the power by lift up the switch to the 'O' position at any moment
during boiling water. If you want to boil water again, only turn on the switch to
restart the kettle.
Ensure that the switch is free of obstructions and the lid is firmly closed, the kettle
will not turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is open.
7. Lift the kettle from the powerbase to pour the water.
Don't open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
Operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may
result in scald.
The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed down again.
The kettle may be stored on the powerbase when not in use.
Boil-dry protection
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will auto-
matically switch off the power. If this happens, allow the kettle to cool down before refilling it
with cold water.
