Practical hints
Practical hints for best results when toasting
sandwiches:
∙ A sandwich should consist of two slices of
sandwich bread with a lling in between.
∙ All types of lling should be sliced (eg
cooked ham), as there is a danger of food
falling down into the interior if other kinds
of lling, such as tuna sh, are used.
∙ All common types of sandwich bread can
be used.
∙ White bread should preferably be one day
old when it is used for sandwiches.
∙ The slices for the lling (cheese, ham
etc) should be cut to match the sandwich
shape.
