g) Wind measurements
• Press the WIND button (4) to choose between displaying the average wind speed
and the wind gust.
• The exterior sensor uses a wind turbine to check the wind speed and the wind vane
to measure the wind direction.
• The monitor shows 16 wind directions (N for north, S for south, SW for southwest
and so on). Press the WIND button (4) to display the average wind speed and the
wind gust speed.
• Wind direction: Average wind direction over 2 minute periods.
• Average wind speed: Average wind speed over 2 minute periods
• Wind gust speed: Maximum wind speed over a 10 minute period
• To change the unit of wind speed:
• Keep the Clock/Set button (13) pressed to reach the setting mode.
• Press + or - to correct the selection, the Clock/Set button to confirm the setting in the
sequence below (or to skip over):
• Weather Forecast > 12/24hr format > D/M or M/D format > Time Zone Offset > Hr >
Min > Yr > > Month Date > Temperature unit > Rainfall unit > Wind Speed unit (km/h,
knots, m/s, mph, Beaufort) > Pressure unit > Pressure value > EXIT

The wind vane of the transmission device must be aligned during installation
To maintain the correct wind direction.
• Please read the chapter concerning this "INSTALLATION & CALIBRATION".
• PLEASE NOTE: Each time the batteries are changed or the power adapter is taken away
from the main device or the transmission device, the wind vane must be realigned.
h) Rain measurement
• Press the RAIN (5) button to choose between the display of daily, weekly, monthly
and total rainfall.
