Below an explanation of the control panel layout and possible display options.

Operation and use
Connecting the cooler

Plug the supplied DC power cable into the cooler.

Now connect the plug into a power supply for use on 12/24V.

For use on an 110-230V power supply, the adapter can be connected instead.
Switching on the cooler
–
Press the power button to switch on the cooler. Long press the power button again to
switch off the cooler.

The screen will power up and shows the actual cooling compartment temperatures and
current settings.

Use the + or – buttons to set the required temperature. After three seconds the
temperature will show the actual cooling compartment temperature again. Temperature
can be set in between values from -20 to 20°C (-4 to 68°F).
App connection
The cooler can be controlled using the Hyckes app, which can be installed on a mobile device
such as a phone or tablet. The app will give information of the current status while functions and
settings can be changed or controlled. Please follow the steps below to connect the cooler with
your mobile device.

Download the Hyckes app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

When the cooler shows the Bluetooth icon on top of the display, it is ready for pairing
with a mobile device.

Start the app on your mobile phone and follow the instructions on the screen.

Once detected, the cooler will show 'APP' on the display.

Confirm pairing by short pressing the settings button on the cooler.
–
The cooler is now connected for mobile use.
Battery capacity indicator
When the optional HyCooler Powerpack is installed, the remaining battery capacity will be shown
on the display. If the cooler is connected with the AC power adapter and not switched on, the
battery charging status will be shown.
When connected to a 12/24V power supply such as a vehicle's starting or stationary battery, a
capacity indication of the vehicle's battery will be shown on the display.
When connected to a 110-230V power supply using the adapter, the display will always
show the maximum battery capacity.
Charging USB devices
Small mobile devices can be charged via the integrated USB charging port. When connecting the
device to the USB port of the cooler, charging will start automatically.
Temperature setting
This cooler is equipped with two cooling compartments which can be set individually for both
cooling and freezing. This feature can be controlled via the app, or changed on the cooler using
the control panel:

Short press the + or – button to enter temperature setting mode.

The left compartment temperature setting will start to flash. Short press the setting
button to switch to the right compartment temperature setting.

The temperature can be set using the + or – buttons. After four seconds the selected
temperature will stop flashing and the display will show the actual cooling compartment
temperature again. Temperature can be set in between values from -20 to 20°C (-4 to
68°F).
The compartments can be switched off/ on individually from each other when one is not in use.
Switching off/ on the left compartment
Long press the + and settings button at the same time for three seconds, the left compartment
will be switched off. Long press the + and settings button again for three seconds, to switch on
the left compartment again.
Switching off/ on the right compartment
Long press the - and settings button at the same time for three seconds, the right compartment
will be switched off. Long press the - and settings button again for three seconds, to switch on
the right compartment again.
If one of the compartments is switched off, the compartment selection function in the
app will disappear. It will automatically return when both compartments are switched
on again. Compartment off/on setting can only be changed on the control panel of the
cooler.
