maIntenance
To ensure optimum filter performance, routine maintenance should be performed as suggested in the
following chart.

how to remove the filter unit
1.
Switch off all electric components. Let heater cool down, wait for minimal 5 minutes.

Remove filter unit cover and tank cover.
3.
Remove light and light support.
4.
Pull out power plugs of a Circulation pump and protein skimmer pump.
5.
Pull out heater.
6.
If cooler is connected, pull out the connecting elbow for cooler inlet + outlet. Be aware that water may
remain in pipes.
7.
Collect all cables and tubes.
8.
Pull out the filter unit slowly by holding the handle of filter unit. It is needed to be done very
slowly to avoid water to spill over.
9.
Wait for while when the bottom of filter unit comes up to the top of the tank, to get the water inside
of the filter unit to run back into the tank.
10. Then pull out the filter unit.

• Ensure the Circulation pump and the Protein Skimmer Pump are connected well,
and the Code rail Cover is placed correctly.
• Put the Filter System Unit back to the Filtering Room slowly.
• Place the Heater do not turn on the heater at this stage. Turning on the heater should come after
confirming the Protein Skimmer Pump works correctly.
• Put the elbow pipe for chiller connecting back to the position, incase cooler is used.
• Add the water to the water level if necessary.
• Make sure all the power codes are dry and placed in the cable space.
• Start the pumps.
• check the correct opteration of the skimmer and correct waterlevel.
• Turn on the heater.
• Replace light and switch on according to needs.
