2. Installation
2.1 Before use
Before connecting the wine cabinet to the power source, let it stand upright for
at least 6 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling
system from handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
Read the instructions supplied with the appliance – failure to install or use of
the appliance in accordance with the instructions may invalidate any warranty.
Boretti does not accept any liability for damage caused through improper use,
or incorrect installation. Do not install this appliance if it has been damaged
during transportation. This includes the plug and supply cord.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
2.2 Installation of the wine cabinet
1. This appliance is designed to be for in column (fully recessed).
2. This appliance uses flammable refrigerant. Never damage the cooling
pipework during transportation and installation.
3. Place your wine cooler on a cabinet shelf that is strong enough to
support it when it is fully loaded.
4. Avoid locating the unit in moist areas.
5. Put the plug of the wine cabinet into an appropriate socket. Should
the plug require changing, get help from a qualifed service technician.
6. Ensure the product is correctly ventilated (See section 1.5).
7. Plug the wine cabinet into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall
outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) pin
from the plug. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should
be directed toward a certified electrician or Customer Service Boretti.
