libscew
The aim of SCEW is to provide an easy interface
around the XML Expat parser, as well as a simple
interface for creating new XML documents. It provides
functions to load and access XML elements without
the need to create Expat event handling routines
every time you want to load a new XML document.
SCEW is freely available for download under the
terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1
(LGPL).

libexpat
Expat is an XML parser library written in C.
It is a stream-oriented parser in which an application
registers handlers for things the parser might find in
the XML document (like start tags).
