lation (EU) 305/2011

Guide
This guide should be used from 01.07.2013 until adoption of the revised EN 13240
under the new structure of EN 16510 series.
The articles referred to are articles of the Regulation (EU) No 305/2011.
This guide covers roomheaters burning solid fuel according to EN 13240 intended
for space heating in residential buildings with possible supply of hot water for
heating purposes or sanitary use.
The manufacturer has to give the information listed below if the appliance is
with/without hot water supply under 1) and 3) of the DoP. For appliance without
hot warm supply the water heating output is to be given as "- kW" and consequent-
ly the room heating output then equals the nominal heat output in 8) of the DoP.
The declaration of performance has to be given in the language(s) required by the
intended Member State of destination. A copy of the declaration of performance
shall be held available by the manufacturer or an authorised representative for at
least 10 years after the construction product has been placed on the market. In
any case, the supply of an electronic version of the declaration of performance is
sufficient.
CEN/TC 295 is of the opinion that a copy of a declaration of performance should
be provided with each appliance delivered or the declaration should be available
on the website of the manufacturer.
