BATTERIES, ELECTRICITY & HEAT
•
Make sure the battery compartment is closed securely.
•
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
•
Only use the specified battery type.
•
Rechargeable batteries can be used in this device. Rechargeable
batteries must be removed from the device before being charged.
•
Correctly insert the batteries into the battery compartment,
respecting the polarity.
•
To prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries from the device if it
is not used for a long period of time.
•
Do not use the device in temperatures that fall below -10 °C or
exceed 40 °C.
•
Battery cells can leak under extreme conditions. Wear protective
gloves when handling leaked batteries and dispose of the gloves
after use. If the battery leaks, do not allow any battery fluid to come
into contact with your skin or eyes. If contact has been made,
wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek
medical advice.
•
Only charge rechargeable batteries with the charger that comes with
these batteries and follow the instructions in the manufacturer's
manual.
•
Rechargeable batteries should only be recharged under adult
supervision.
•
Non-rechargeable batteries should not be recharged.
•
Avoid mixing the batteries, i.e. new, used or different types.
•
Do not short circuit the contacts inside the battery compartment
or any batteries.
•
Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage
the battery.
WARNING! Do not throw the device/batteries into a fire
because they may explode!
•
Do not use, expose or store the device in the immediate vicinity of
heat sources such as naked flames.
3) USING THE DEVICE
Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure
the device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing
or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the
packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.
Before use, it is advised to clean the device thoroughly with a dry cloth.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES INTO THE DEVICE
•
Make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the OFF position.
•
Remove the battery cover at the back of the device by pressing the
battery compartment lock and lifting the cover.
•
Insert the amount needed of the specified battery type (not included)
that is indicated into the battery compartment, respecting the
polarity.
•
Place the battery compartment and gently press down until it clicks
into place.
POWERING THE DEVICE
•
To power ON the device, place the ON/OFF switch in the ON position
and the LED will light up.
•
To power OFF the device, place the ON/OFF switch in the OFF position
and the LED will no longer light up.
Note! If the LED brightness starts to fade, the batteries are almost empty
and should be replaced.
CLEANING THE DEVICE
•
Before cleaning, make sure the device is switched OFF and the
batteries are removed.
•
Clean the body with a damp cloth.
•
Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar products.
•
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials or sharp objects
such as hard brushes or knives.
•
Never immerse the device in water.

(WEEE, the waste electrical and electronic equipment directive,
applicable in EU member states)
Your product has been manufactured using high quality
materials and components which can be recycled and used
again. At the end of its service life, this product cannot be
disposed of in normal domestic waste, but must be taken to a
special collection point for recycling electrical and electronic
equipment. This is indicated in the user manual and in the packaging by
the crossed-out wheeled dust bin symbol. Used raw materials are
suitable for recycling.
You can ask your local competent council about the location of your
nearest collection point.
By recycling used appliances or raw materials, you are playing an
important role in protecting our environment.
Correct disposal ensures that waste electrical and electronic equipment
(which may content hazardous substances) is recycled and reused
appropriately. It helps avoid potential damage to the environment and
human health, wildlife and to preserve natural resources.
Batteries:
Do not dispose batteries in your household waste. Dispose of batteries
by taking them to your local recycling station. Contact your local
competent government offices for details.
Following information is only valid for EU member states.
If the battery contains more than the values of lead (Pb),
mercury (Hg) and/or cadmium (Cd) as defined in the Battery
Directive (2006/66/EC), then the chemical symbols for Pb, Hg
and/or Cd will appear below the crossed-out wheeled dust bin symbol.

BATTERIJEN, ELEKTRICITEIT EN WARMTE
•
Zorg ervoor dat de batterijvakje goed is afgesloten.
•
Houd batterijen buiten bereik van kinderen.
•
Gebruik uitsluitend het gespecificeerde type batterijen.
•
In dit apparaat kunnen oplaadbare batterijen worden gebruikt.
Oplaadbare batterijen moeten uit het apparaat worden verwijderd
om te worden opgeladen.
•
Plaats de batterijen op de juiste wijze in het batterijvakje. Let daarbij
op de aangegeven polariteit.
•
Om lekkage van de batterijen te voorkomen, raden wij aan de
batterijen uit het apparaat te verwijderen als u het gedurende
langere tijd niet gebruikt.
•
Gebruik het apparaat niet bij temperaturen lager dan -10°C of hoger
dan 40°C.
•
Onder extreme omstandigheden kunnen batterijcellen gaan lekken.
Draag beschermende handschoenen bij het hanteren van lekkende
batterijen en gooi de handschoenen na gebruik weg. Wanneer een
batterij lekt, moet u voorkomen dat batterijvloeistof op uw huid of
in uw ogen terecht komt. Wanneer batterijvloeistof in contact is
gekomen met de huid of ogen, moet het betreffende gebied worden
afgespoeld met grote hoeveelheden water en moet u een arts
raadplegen.
•
Laad oplaadbare batterijen uitsluitend op met de oplader die bij deze
batterijen is meegeleverd en volg de instructies in de handleiding
van de fabrikant.
•
Oplaadbare batterijen mogen uitsluitend worden opgeladen in het
bijzijn van een volwassene.
•
Niet-oplaadbare batterijen mogen niet worden opgeladen.
•
Zorg ervoor dat u nooit nieuwe, gebruikte of verschillende typen
batterijen met elkaar combineert.
•
Zorg ervoor dat er nooit kortsluiting optreedt tussen de
contactpunten in het batterijvakje of tussen batterijen.
•
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt beschadigd of
gedemonteerd; hierdoor kan de batterij beschadigd raken.
WAARSCHUWING! Gooi het apparaat of de batterijen nooit in
een vuur omdat ze kunnen ontploffen!
•
Gebruik of bewaar het apparaat niet in de buurt van ontvlambare
materialen of hittebronnen zoals open vuur en stel het hier niet
aan bloot.
3) GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
Open de verpakking voorzichtig en haal het apparaat eruit. Controleer
of het apparaat volledig en onbeschadigd is. Mochten er onderdelen
beschadigd zijn of ontbreken, neem dan contact op met de verkoper en
gebruik het product niet. Bewaar de verpakking of recycle deze zoals
voorgeschreven door lokale regelgeving.
We raden aan het apparaat vóór gebruik grondig schoon te maken met
een droge doek.
DE BATTERIJEN IN HET APPARAAT PLAATSEN
•
Zorg dat de AAN/UIT-schakelaar op UIT staat.
•
Verwijder het batterijdeksel aan de achterkant van het apparaat
door op de vergrendeling van het batterijvakje te drukken en het
deksel op te tillen.
•
Plaats het juiste aantal van aangegeven het type batterijen (niet
inbegrepen) in het batterijvakje. Let daarbij op de polariteit.
•
Plaats het batterijdeksel terug en druk het voorzichtig omlaag totdat
het vastklikt.
HET APPARAAT INSCHAKELEN
•
Om het apparaat AAN te zetten, schuift u de AAN/UIT-schakelaar naar
ON. De led-kaars gaat dan aan.
•
Om het apparaat UIT te zetten, schuift u de AAN/UIT-schakelaar naar
OFF. De led-kaars gaat dan uit.
Let op! Als een led-kaars minder fel licht begint te geven, zijn de
batterijen bijna leeg en moeten ze worden vervangen.
HET APPARAAT REINIGEN
•
Zet het apparaat UIT en verwijder de batterijen voordat u het
apparaat schoonmaakt.
•
Neem de behuizing af met een vochtige doek.
•
Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen, benzine of vergelijkbare producten.
•
Gebruik nooit agressieve of schurende materialen of scherpe
objecten zoals harde borstels of messen.
•
Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water.
4) FUNCTIES EN SPECIFICATIES

Dit product is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardige
materialen en onderdelen die gerecycled en opnieuw
gebruikt kunnen worden. Aan het einde van de levensduur
mag dit product niet afgevoerd worden met het normale
huisafval. In plaats daarvan moet het worden ingeleverd bij
een inzamelpunt voor afgedankte elektrische en elektronische
apparatuur. Dit wordt in de handleiding en op de verpakking
weergegeven door de afvalcontainer met een kruis erdoor. De gebruikte
grondstoffen kunnen worden gerecycled.
Informeer bij uw gemeente waar het dichtstbijzijnde inzamelpunt is.
Door gebruikte apparatuur of grondstoffen te recyclen, levert u een
belangrijke bijdrage aan het beschermen van het milieu.

Batterijen:

De volgende informatie geldt alleen voor EU-lidstaten.
Als de batterij de in de richtlijn inzake batterijen en accu's
(2006/66/EG) vermelde waarden van lood (Pb), kwik (Hg) en/
of cadmium (Cd) overschrijdt, worden de chemische symbolen
voor Pb, Hg en/of Cd weergegeven onder de afvalcontainer met een
kruis erdoor.

PILES, ÉLECTRICITÉ & CHALEUR
•
Assurez-vous que le compartiment à pile est bien fermé.
•
Tenez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
•
Utilisez uniquement le type de pile spécifié.
•
Des piles rechargeables peuvent être placées dans cet appareil.
Les piles rechargeables doivent être retirées de l'appareil avant
d' ê tre rechargées.
•
Insérer correctement les piles dans le compartiment à piles, tout en
respectant la polarité.
•
Pour éviter toute fuite de la pile, retirer les piles de l'appareil lorsqu'il
n' e st pas utilisé pendant une longue période.
•
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à des températures inférieures à -10 °C ou
supérieures à 40 °C.
•
Dans certaines conditions extrêmes, les batteries pourraient couler.
Portez des gants de protection lorsque vous manipulez des batteries
qui coulent et jetez les gants après l'utilisation. Si la batterie coule,
évitez le contact du liquide de la batterie avec votre peau ou vos
yeux. En cas de contact, rincez abondamment à l' e au et consultez
un médecin.
•
Rechargez les piles rechargeables uniquement avec un chargeur
approprié et suivez les instructions du manuel du fabricant.
•
Les piles rechargeables doivent uniquement être rechargées sous la
supervision d'un adulte.
•
Ne pas recharger des piles non rechargeables.
•
Éviter de mélanger des piles, à savoir neuves, usagées ou de types
différents.
•
Ne court-circuitez pas les contacts à l'intérieur du compartiment à
pile ni les piles.
•
N' é crasez pas, ne percez pas ou ne démontez pas l'appareil ; cela
pourrait endommager la batterie.
AVERTISSEMENT ! Ne jetez pas l'appareil au feu, car il pourrait
exploser !

N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur telles que
des flammes nues.
3) UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL
Ouvrez l' e mballage avec précaution avant d' e n sortir l'appareil.
Assurez-vous que l'appareil est complet et en bon état. S'il y a des pièces
manquantes ou endommagées, contactez le fournisseur et n'utilisez
pas le produit. Conservez l' e mballage ou recyclez-le conformément aux
réglementations locales.
Avant toute utilisation, il est conseillé de nettoyer soigneusement
l'appareil avec un chiffon sec.
INSTALLATION DES PILES DANS L'APPAREIL
•
Assurez-vous que l'interrupteur d'alimentation est en
position « OFF ».
•
Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à l'arrière de l'appareil
en appuyant sur le verrou du compartiment à piles et en soulevant
le couvercle.
•
Insérez la quantité nécessaire du type de pile spécifié (non inclus)
qui est indiqué dans le compartiment à piles, en respectant la
polarité.
•
Insérez le compartiment à piles et appuyez doucement jusqu'à ce
qu'il s' e nclenche.
ALLUMER L'APPAREIL
•
Pour allumer l'appareil, faites glisser l'interrupteur marche/arrêt vers
la position ON (allumé), et la lampe LED s'allume.
•
Pour éteindre l'appareil, faites glisser l'interrupteur marche/arrêt
vers la position OFF (éteint), et la lampe LED s' é teint.
Remarque ! Si la luminosité de la LED commence à baisser, cela signifie
que les piles sont presque vides et doivent être remplacées.
NETTOYAGE DE L'APPAREIL
•
Avant de procéder au nettoyage, assurez-vous que l'appareil est
éteint et que les piles ont été retirées.
•
Nettoyez le corps de l'appareil avec un chiffon humide.
•
N'utilisez pas de solvants, d' e ssence ou de produits similaires.
•
N'utilisez jamais de détergents agressifs ou abrasifs, ni d' o bjets
tranchants comme une brosse dure ou un couteau.
•
N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans l' e au.
