Moving your refrigerator freezer
Unplug the refrigerator freezer.
Remove all the food.
Securely tape down all loose items inside your refrigerator freezer.
Tape the door shut.
Be sure the refrigerator freezer stays in the upright position during transportation.
If the appliance is turned off for any reason, wait for 10 minutes before turning it back on. This will

cool refrigerated food
Keep door openings to a minimum.
Open the appliance as briefly as possible.
Regularly defrost the refrigerator freezer to remove the layer of frost.
Ensure that the fridge and freezer doors are always closed properly..
DEFROSTING
Fridge compartment defrosting
The fridge compartment defrosting process is carried out automatically every time the compressor
stops. The defrost water is automatically routed to the drain port and into a tray placed on the top of
the compressor to the rear of the appliance from which it evaporates.
Make sure the drain port on the fridge compartment at the rear of the appliance is kept clear.
Freezer compartment defrosting
The freezer compartment will need defrosting periodically or when the frost is more than 3mm thick.
Do not scrape off hoarfrost or ice with a knife or pointed object. Doing this may damage the
refrigerant tubes.
1. Remove the frozen food and place temporarily in a cool location.
