▶ Secure one carabiner of the tool tether to the retaining strap and secure the second carabiner to a
load-bearing structure. Check that both carabiners hold securely.
Comply with the operating instructions of the Hilti retaining strap and those of the Hilti tool tether.

Installing blower tube
1. Align the lugs of the blower tube with the slots in the blower housing.
2. Push the blower tube on to the blower housing.
3. Turn the blower tube clockwise until it is fully seated on the blower housing.

Removing blower tube
1. Turn the blower tube counter-clockwise.
2. Pull the blower tube off the blower housing.

Installing inflation/deflation adapter
1. Remove the blower tube.
2. Align the installation lugs on the inflation/deflation module with the slots in the blower housing.
3. Push the inflation/deflation adapter on to the fan housing.
4. Turn the inflation/deflation adapter clockwise as far as it will go.
5. Check that the inflation/deflation adapter is secure.
6. To remove the adapter, turn the inflation/deflation adapter counter-clockwise and pull the adapter straight
off the blower housing.

Converting inflation/deflation adapter to deflation
▶ Align the installation lugs on the air inlet with the slots in the inflation/deflation adapter and position the
adapter on the air inlet.

Selecting speed range
1. Reduce the speed range by turning the speed-range adjusting knob up.
▶ You have a choice of 3 speed ranges.
2. Increase the speed range by turning the speed-range adjusting knob down.

6.1
Switching product on and off
Switching product on
1. To switch the product on, press the on / off switch.
Switching product off
2. To switch the product off, release the on / off switch.
6.2
Activating continuous-operation lock
1. Press and hold down the on/off switch.
2. Press and hold down the continuous running lock.
3. Release the on/off switch.
▶ The on / off switch is locked and the product runs in continuous-operation mode.
To deactivate the continuous-operation lock, press the on/off switch. The continuous-operation
lock automatically returns to its initial position.
