BEFORE THE FIRST USE
· Check the inner cooking plates to make sure they are clean and free of dust. Clean them
with a damp cloth.
· Grease both sides of the cooking plates lightly. Plug into the socket. Before you can start
baking, you need to preheat the wa昀툀e appliance. Close the lid. Turn the temperature knob
to the desired position.
· The green light will turn on indicating that the wa昀툀e-maker has reached the correct
temperature.
· When using the appliance for the 昀椀rst time there may be a slight smell and light smoke
from the cooking plates. This is normal. For hygienic reasons, do not the 昀椀rst wafers made,
throw them away.
USE
Pour, when the green light goes on, the wa昀툀e batter into the middle of the lower plate.

Use a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to dough to distribute the batter evenly over
the baking plates. Then use the handle to close.

The baking time is determined by the position of the temperature knob. For golden
wa昀툀es it's best to turn the knob to "medium" (Middle position).

Set the timer (maximum 15 minutes). The baking time depends on you personal
preference and the selected temperature. When the timer is 昀椀nished, you will here an
endsignal. The wa昀툀e maker will remain aperational, which makes it easy to bake the
next wa昀툀e. The timer functions as a stopwatch. The appliance doesn't cool down when
the timer stops.
Once the wa昀툀e is ready, remove it gently with a wooden or heatproof plastic spatula to

loosen the sides. Never use metal objects, because they can damage specially coated
non-stick surface.
If you have 昀椀nished baking, turn the temperature knob to MIN and remove the plug from

the socket.
