UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Carefully unpack the box upon receipt. Check the contents to ensure that all parts are present and have been
received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packaging material if any parts appear damaged from
shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packaging materials. If the product must be
returned, it is important that the product is returned in the original factory box and packaging.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS
1. 9VDC POWER INPUT
Connector for inserting the supplied power adapter.
Speaker can be used while charging.
2. USB PORT
Connect your USB devices to this slot to play music
with MP3 or WMA format.
3. SD CARD SLOT
Insert an SD card in this slot to be able to play SD
card MP3 music files.
4. AUX INPUT
3.5mm auxiliary line input jack.
5. MICROPHONE INPUT
6.3mm jack input for connecting a microphone.
6. MODE
Press this button to switch between USB/SD-, AUX-,
FM and BT modes.
7. REC
Press to record the signal from the microphone input
(when USB is inserted).
8. PLAY/PAUSE / LINK
Press button to start/resume or pause playback. Press and hold for 3 seconds to initiate the stereo pair (link) function.
9. MENU
Press to change bass/treble/echo.
10. PREVIOUS
Press to change to previous track/channel.
11. VOLUME CONTROL
Turn to adjust the volume output level.
12. NEXT
Press to change to next track/channel.
13. POWER SWITCH
Press to turn the device on/off.
14. LED
Press and hold to turn the party lighting on/off, press to change lighting effect.
15. MICROPHONE PRIORITY
Press to switch microphone priority function on/off. When set to on, microphone input will have priority, meaning the music
volume level will be turned down when a microphone input signal is detected.
16. REPEAT
Press to toggle repeat modes.
BT CONNECTION
1. Activate the BT on your device (Mobile phone, tablet etc.) which you want to play the music.
See the operating instructions for that device.
2. Press the "MODE" button and activate the BT-function.
3. Select "BoomBox440" on your BT device and pair.
Attention: BT distance is approx. 10meter without any barrier.
STEREO PAIRING / LINK
The BoomBox400 and BoomBox440 feature a stereo pairing function. This means you can purchase 2 BoomBox400 and/or
BoomBox440 speakers and connect them to play in stereo wirelessly. Step 1: set up a BT connection with speaker 1. Step 2:
set speaker 2 to BT mode. Step 3: hold the PLAY/PAUSE / LINK button on speaker 1 and 2 for 3 seconds. When pairing is
successful, you'll hear a chime to confirm.
