Check the contents for completeness and for signs of visible damage.

If the contents are not complete, or are damaged due to defective packaging
or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness
and disposal attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material
that is no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing appliances from the
appliance.
CAUTION

Before connecting the appliance compare the specifications for the required
input voltage on the rating plate with the intended voltage source for opera-
tion. This data must agree in order to avoid damaging the appliance.

The power adapter connected to the appliance must always be easily
accessible so that the appliance can be quickly disconnected from the
mains power supply in an emergency.
►
Ensure that the appliance power adapter cable is not damaged and that
it is not laid over hot surfaces and/or sharp edges, otherwise it could be
damaged.

Ensure that the power adapter connecting cable is not tightly stretched or
kinked.
