Electric Connection
• Before inserting the power plug into the outlet,
check that the mains voltage to be used match-
es that of the device. You can find the required
information on the nameplate.
• Connect the device only to a correctly installed
safety socket.
Short-interval use
The appliance is suitable for short-interval use of a
maximum of 2 minutes. Let the appliance cool for
1 minute before using it again!
Pulse mode
Switch to pulse mode by turning the control to the
"P" position and then release it. Use this operation
mode for example to chop larger pieces.
Operation
NOTE: Safety switch
Operation of the appliance is prevented in case of
wrong installation.
• You can mount either the mixing vessel or the
smoothie container on the base unit.
• Always check for correct seating of the sealing
ring in the knife block. The smooth surface of
the sealing ring must face down.
• Ensure that the function switch is in the "0" posi-
tion.
Preparation of the Mixing Vessel
1. Tighten the knife block by hand to the bottom of
the mixing vessel.
2. Place the mixing vessel onto the motor housing.
Follow the symbols on the housing. Position the
mixing vessel so that the handle lies above the
symbol.
3. Secure the mixing vessel by turning it clockwise.
4. Now put the ingredients that are to be mixed
into the mixing vessel.
5. Put the lid on. Press it down firmly.
