Capacity measurement
Connect the plug of the black test lead in the "COM" connector.
Connect the plug of the red test lead in the "V" connector.
Select the resistance measurement range "Ω" using the rotary switch.
Select capacity measurement
Place the measurement probes on the measurement object.
The capacity of the measurement object will be displayed in mF, μF or
nF.
If the display shows "OL", the capacity already lies outside the permis-
sible measurement range.
If the capacity to be measured is
too low, the self-capacitance of
the instrument and test leads
can falsify the measured value.
You can use the "REL function"
to perform automatic compensa-
tion of the self-capacitance.
Leave the measurement input
open and save the value as a
reference using "REL". The self-
capacitance has already been
accounted for with the following
measured value displays.
