Prior To Usage
In order to avoid possible risk of fire, the distance between the appliance and all walls has to be at least
10 cm. Keep the space above the appliance free to ensure free air circulation. Put the appliance on a
heat-resistant base (no varnished tables, no table cloths). Do not operate the appliance in the proximity
of other hot appliances (stove, gas flames).
Initial Use
Make sure that the mains voltage is identical with the details on the rating plate. Only connect to an
AC outlet. Then heat the appliance without a pot for approximately 5 minutes at maximum temperature.
This will give the maximum protection to the coating on the plates. Please disregard the slight temporary
formation of smoke.

Directions For Use
Only use pots and pans suitable for electric stoves and with an appropriate diameter. If the bottom of
the pot is uneven or too small, energy will be wasted and the maximum heat cannot be used.
The cooking plates are equipped with a patented thermostatic system, which gives a fine and infinitely
variable temperature selection. Your cooking plate always heats up with maximum power until it reaches
the temperature you selected. Thereafter the thermostat adjusts itself to maintain the temperature,
which you can see by the pilot lamp going on and off. After a short period of time you will find the
temperature that is right for your dishes, and re-setting the temperature is generally not necessary.
