CLEANING
Cleaning the lamp may cause a short circuit if water or other liquids have entered the casing�
• Never immerse the lamp in water or other liquids�
• Make sure that no water or other liquids get into the casing�
• Do not clean the gel coating of the silwy® placemat with abrasive sponges or a dish brush, as the surface
may become damaged or dull due to scratches� Do not put the placemats in the dishwasher� If their
adhesive strength decreases, clean the gel layer on the back before next use under running water
(without detergent) and let it dry�
Risk of damage
Improper handling of the lamp can damage it�
• Never put the lamp in a dishwasher� This would destroy the lamp�
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, brushes or sharp cleaning implements such as hard spatulas,
knives, etc� These can damage the surface of the lamp�

Recommendations
1 Let the lamp cool down completely�
2 Clean the lamp using a soft cloth moistened with lukewarm water and soap�
3 Let all parts dry completely�
STORAGE/TRANSPORT
Before storage, all parts must be completely dry�
• Protect the lamp from direct sunlight�
• Always store the lamp in a dry place�
• Store the lamp out of the reach of children, securely closed at a storage temperature between 5°C and
20°C�
• For transportation and storage of the silwy® anti-slip accessories and the Sompex lamp, we recommend
using the original boxes�
DISPOSAL
Do not throw the lamp�
Dispose of the packaging according to type�
Put card and cardboard in with the paper waste�
Put film into the recyclable waste collector. (Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with
systems for the separate collection of recyclables)�
If a silwy® placemat is no longer in use, please dispose of it at the nearest public collection point (metal)�
