Cleaning and maintenance
For optimum shaving performance, clean the shaver
after each use:
Cleaning under running water
Turn on the appliance. Rinse the shaver head under hot
running water until all residues have been removed (f).
You may also use liquid soap without abrasive substances.
Rinse off all foam and let the shaver run for a few more
seconds. Then turn it off and remove the shaver foil (1)
as shown (g) and let it dry. If regularly cleaning the
shaver under tap water, weekly apply a drop of light
machine oil onto the long hair trimmer and shaver foil.
Cleaning with the brush
Remove the shaver foil (1) and tap it gently against a flat
surface. Then thoroughly clean the cutter block (2) with
the brush (7) as shown in (i). Do not clean the shaver
foil with the brush as this may damage it.
After cleaning, turn the twisting protective cap (4) 180° to
cover the shaving head. In this position, the on/off switch
is automatically locked to avoid accidental operation of
the shaver (e. g. when travelling).

recycling take to electric waste collection
points provided in your country.
Guarantee
We grant a 2-year guarantee on the product commenc-
ing on the date of purchase. Within the guarantee period
we will eliminate any defects in the appliance resulting
from faults in materials or workmanship, free of charge
either by repairing or replacing the complete appliance at
our discretion.
Depending on availability replacement might result in a
different color or an equivalent model.
This guarantee extends to every country where this appli-
ance is supplied by Braun or its appointed distributor.
This guarantee does not cover: damage due to improper
use, normal wear and tear (e.g. shaver foil or cutter
block) as well as defects that have a negligible effect on
the value or operation of the appliance. The guarantee
becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorised
persons and if original Braun parts are not used.
To obtain service within the guarantee period, hand in or
send the complete appliance with your sales receipt to
an authorised Braun Customer Service Centre (address
information available online at www.service.braun.com).

This guarantee in no way affects your rights under
statutory law.
