Loosen the wing screw (3) of the cutting depth adjustment and set the guide
carriage to the desired cutting depth. Secure the setting by tightening the
wing screw (3).
M i t e r c u t s
The cover plate (9) must be removed in order to be able to carry out mitre
cuts. To do this, loosen the two wing screws (8) and remove the plate.
Loosen the wing screw (4) on the angle scale on the guide carriage. Tilt the
machine to the desired angle (0°-45°) and secure the setting by tightening
the wing screw (4).
D i p p i n g f u n c t i o n
The diamond saw can be plunged into the material to produce cut-outs or for
joint restoration. To do this, loosen the wing screw (3) on the cutting depth
adjustment. The wing screw (3) must be open while plunging into the mate-
rial.
The machine is placed on the workpiece. Switch on the machine without the
diamond cutting disc coming into contact with the workpiece and plunge into
the workpiece. As soon as the desired immersion depth is reached, tighten
the wing screw (3).
Special care must be taken here!
Caution!
The wear of the diamond segments influences the exact cutting depth.
After some time, it may be necessary to check and correct the desired
cutting depth by manual measurement.
D r y c u t t i n g
The dust produced during the work is harmful to health. It is therefore
necessary to use a hoover and wear a dust mask when dry cutting.
The matching DSS 25 M wet and dry vacuum cleaner is available as an ac-
cessory. This can be connected directly to the designated connection piece
(5) on the extraction bonnet.
W e t c u t t i n g
For wet cutting, close the suction nozzle (5) with the supplied sealing plug.
Proceed as follows to supply the machine with water:
Connect the machine to the water supply or to a pressurised water tank
using the GARDENA plug nipple (6).
Only operate the machine with clean water and ensure a sufficient water
supply. The water quantity can be regulated using the mini ball valve (7).
Caution! The maximum water pressure must not exceed 3 bar!
