OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
Switching the appliance on
Push and hold the On/Off button for 5 seconds to switch the appliance on.
The temperature is set to -18 °C; indicator light-18 comes on.
Attention; each time the appliance is switched on again, it takes a while to reach the
correct temperature. As long as the temperature has not yet been reached (and is
therefore too high), the alarm indicator for high temperature flashes.
Setting the temperature
Push the On/Off button (several times) to choose a temperature.
The corresponding indicator light comes on.

The temperature of the freezer compartment can be set to between -24 °C and -16 °C.
•
The recommended temperature of the freezer compartment is -18 °C.
Switching the appliance off
1. First set the temperature to -16 ° C.
2. Then push and hold the On/Off button for 5 seconds.
All lights flash three times; the appliance is now switched off (standby).
If the On/Off button is pushed again or pushed too short, all lights will flash three times to
indicate that the appliance is in standby.
Intensive freezing
This appliance has an intensive freezing function. This function decreases the temperature in
the freezer compartment as quickly as possible. Activate this function 24 hours before you put a
large quantity of fresh food in the appliance.
When the intensive freezing function is selected, the appliance works at maximum
capacity. It may then make more noise for a while.
