1) Safe working area
Keep your working area tidy and clean at all times. Unclean and dark work areas increase the risk of accidents.
Do not work with this device in potentially explosive environments, such as flammable liquids, dusts or gases.
Power tools can generate sparks that may ignite fumes or dust. Electronic devices can cause sparks that can
ignite dust.
Keep children and other persons away while using the power tool. Otherwise, distraction could cause you to
lose control of the device.
2) Personal safety
Act with reason during your work, pay attention to what you are doing and always be alert when working with
power tools. Do not work with it when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment's inattention when using this device can lead to serious injuries.
Always wear personal protective equipment and safety goggles. Depending on the type and use of the power
tool wear protective clothing, dust mask, non-slip shoes, hard hat or hearing protection. This reduces the risk
of injuries.
Avoid unintentional start-up. Make sure that the switch is in the „OFF" or „0" position before plugging the plug
into the socket. Connecting the device when switched on can result in accidents.
Remove adjustment tools or wrenches before switching on the device. There may be a risk of injury when tools
or keys are located in a moving part of the device.
Keep proper footing and balance at all times. Do not overestimate yourself. Thus you can better control the
device.
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Long hair, loose
clothing or jewellery can be caught by moving parts.
3) Proper handling of power tools
Do not overload the device! Always use the tool appropriate for the work. Thus work better and safer in the
specified performance range.
Never use a power tool whose switch is defective. The device is then dangerous and must be repaired.
Always remove the plug from the socket before making adjustments to the device, replacing accessories, clea-
ning or storing the device.
Thus prevent unintentional start-up of the device.
Keep unused power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons to use the device that are unfamiliar
with the device or have not read these instructions. The device can be dangerous for persons who lack expe-
rience.
Check that moving parts of the device function properly and do not jam if parts are broken or damaged. This
could affect the functioning of the device. Ensure damaged parts are repaired before using the device. Many
accidents are caused by poorly cared for or poorly maintained power tools.
