The device may only be connected to a mains network in-
stalled by an electrician in accordance with IEC 60364.
Never touch the mains cable and the mains connector/plug
with wet hands.
Make sure that the mains cable or extension lead are not
damaged; signs of damage may be evident from them be-
ing driven over, severely bent or kinked, exposed to pulling
loads or similar. Protect the mains cable from heat, oil and
sharp edges.
The mains cable must be inspected at regular intervals for
damage, such as cracks or signs of ageing. In the event of
damage, the cable must be replaced before any further use.
When replacing couplings of the mains cable or an exten-
sion lead, ensure protection against splashes and mechan-
ical leak-tightness.
Do not clean the device with a water hose or high pressure
jet (danger of short circuit or other damage).
Application
Devices with accessories, particularly the mains cable and
extension lead, must be inspected before use to ensure
that they function correctly and safely. If defects are found,
pull out the mains connector/plug immediately. The device
must then not be used.
Do not extract burning or glowing objects.
This device must not be used for vacuum cleaning people
and animals.
The devices may not be used outside at low temperatures.
If the device is used in hazardous locations (e.g. filling sta-
tions), the relevant safety regulations must be observed.
Use of the device in explosive areas is not permissible.
Certain materials can generate explosive vapours or mix-
tures through the intake of air.
Caution: This device may only be stored in enclosed spaces.
Caution: This device is designed to be used only in en-
closed spaces.
The following materials must never be extracted:

Explosive or flammable gases, liquids and dust particles
(reactive dust particles)

Reactive metallic dust particles (e.g. aluminium,
magnesium, zinc) in combination with strong alkaline or
acidic cleaning agents

Undiluted, strong acids and lye
–
Organic solvents (e.g. benzine, thinners, acetone, heating oil)
Furthermore, the substances listed may result in materials
of the device becoming corroded.
Operation
The operator must use the device in the intended manner.
He/she must take account of the local conditions and be
mindful of third parties, particularly children, when working
with the device.
Do not leave the equipment unsupervised while it is in op-
eration and if the mains cable has not been removed.
Always wear suitable gloves when working on the device.
The device may only be used by persons who have re-
ceived induction training on how to use the device or are in
possession of verified qualification and specialist knowl-
edge on how to use the device or have been expressly
tasked with using the device.
This device is not to be used by persons (including chil-
dren) with physical or mental disabilities or persons who
lack the experience and knowledge to do so.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that the de-
vice is not used incorrectly.

This device is designed for dry use only and may not be
used or stored in wet conditions outside unless expressly
marked otherwise.

Transport
WARNING!

Instructions for use
Before initial operation
Carefully read the safety instructions in this manual before
bringing the device into operation for the first time.
Unpack the power tool and accessories and check that no
parts are missing or damaged.
Accessories (Figure B)
The nozzles and accessories for the device are located in the
dust container for transport. To open the dust container, re-
lease the fasteners (1) and remove the head section (2). Re-
move the parts (3) and fit the head section again. Secure the
head section with the fasteners.
Transport trolley (Figure C)
The wheels of the transport trolley must be mounted as shown
before initial use. Insert the castor wheels and the rear wheels.
