Thank you for purchasing one of our products. We recommend you carefully read this instruction manual: it contains
important information regarding safety regulations for use and maintenance of the appliance. It is also recommended to
keep this document carefully to consult in case of necessity.
SAFETY WARNINGS
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
CAUTION: This tool must be placed on its stand when not in use.
Keep the tool away from flammable materials (curtains, combustible material,
furniture, etc.). To use this appliance in total safety implies observing some basic
safety measures, such as: never use the appliance with wet hands or feet, never
expose the appliance to moisture or water, never leave the appliance exposed to
atmospheric agents, never disconnect the plug by pulling the power cord or the
appliance itself. After finishing the work, turn off the product and leave the
soldering iron cool in the air; never put it under water in order to avoid electric
shocks. Do not touch metal parts of the soldering iron (tips or resistances) when it
is on, with your hands or other parts of the body. High temperatures can cause
severe burns. This tool can set fire to different materials, make a proof on a
discarded material before use.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the
manufacturer's technical support service, or by an adequately qualified
technician so as to prevent any risks. The power cord must never be in contact
with the hot surfaces of the soldering iron. This tool is not a toy.
ATTENTION: Always place the stand on a flat and regular surface.
GENERAL WARNINGS
Before using the tool, control its integrity, if there are any defective parts, or it has other conditions, which could
negatively influence its functions and safety. Remove all the packaging material and make sure that the appliance is in
good condition. If you have any doubt, do not use the appliance and contact our After-Sales Service. Keep the packaging
material (staples, nylon bags, etc.) out of the reach of children. Before plugging the soldering iron into a socket, check
whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of the appliance. This appliance must be connected to an approved
mains socket that complies with the safety regulations on electrical systems for civil purposes. The electrical system must
be specific for the appliance rated voltage. Never cover the appliance, as this could cause risk of overheating. Do not
leave the soldering iron on, if you do not use it; it causes an early oxidation reaching over-temperatures which could
compromise the duration of the resistances. The appliance must be used only for its intended use, that is soldering iron.
Any other use than its intended purpose shall be deemed to be improper and hazardous. The manufacturer shall not be
held responsible for damages derived from misuse of this appliance.
Always unplug the appliance before performing any maintenance and whether it is not used for long periods of time.
Before inserting or removing the tips, unplug the appliance. Never connect the power cord to extensions or triple plugs.
Do not pull or damage the power cord.
If the appliance does not work properly, immediately turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains socket. For
repairs, contact a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer, and require that original spare parts be used.
Using parts that do not conform to the product may seriously compromise its correct operation.
Disorder and scarce lighting could cause incidents. Keep the working area always clean and well-lighted. The possible
exhalations coming from the material on which you are working can be dangerous. Ask for information about toxicity of
the used materials and work in a well-ventilated area. Keep away your hands from the hot tips and working area. The heat
can be transmitted by the piece. Protect the working surface and materials against damages caused by heat. Non-skilled
users shall not to carry out works or repairs where a specific training is necessary (for example the repair of
electric/electronic appliances). The appliance has dangerous components that must be kept out of the reach of children. If
necessary, use safety glasses.
