INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
This product is category II personal protective equipment (PPE) protecting
the head. It protects the head from hitting obstacles and from being hit
by falling objects. It is designed for sport climbing, mountain climbing,
mountaineering, via ferratas and similar climbing activities. Do not use
it for any other purpose or without reading and understanding these
instructions beforehand. If you have any doubts about its use, please,
contact the manufacturer. The helmet can be used at temperatures
ranging from -20 °C to +30 °C. It must not be used after a heavy impact!
Please, remember that no helmet can protect the user against all dangers!
INSPECTION
Check the condition of the whole helmet before each use! If the helmet's
condition is not satisfactory or if you have any doubts about its perfect
condition, stop using it.
ADJUSTMENT
(fig. 2) Use the knob to loosen the adjustment system before putting the
helmet on and to tighten it properly after putting it on. (fig. 3) Adjust the
slide-through cheek clips symmetrically to put them into a proper position.
(fig. 4) Adjust chin strap length. (fig. 5) Use the helmet only if perfectly
adjusted.
If the helmet cannot be fitted securely to your head, it must not be used.
ACCESSORIES
(fig. 6) Lift the clips carefully and slide the headlamp strap under them.
Secure the strap with the rubber in the back part.
Stickers and writing are admissible if they do not damage the shell
material – paint and ABS.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
(fig. 7) WARNING! This helmet may be damaged by solvent-based
chemicals and by substances containing solvents (such as glues or paints).
Do not expose the helmet directly to any heat sources. Neither must it be
exposed to the sun for a long time. Carry the helmet in a suitable textile bag.
MAINTENANCE
(fig. 7) If the helmet must be disinfected, use a 1% potassium
permanganate solution and follow the same procedure as in cleaning.
For cleaning, use clean water of up to 30 °C, pH neutral soap and a cloth.
Dry the helmet out of reach of direct heat sources.
If the instructions are adhered to and if the helmet is in a fit-for-use
condition, it can be used for 10 years after the production date. However,
the helmet might become worn out or damaged after a shorter time and
in such a case it must not be continued to be used. The helmet must not be
repaired or modified in any way without the manufacturer's consent.
