The instrument has two operating mode keys:
Laser beam switch key to project Vertical and Horizontal line by step.
Detector key to activate DETECTOR mode, in order to use with a detector in brighter condition or further di-
stance. Power indicator light to show the laser is on. Flashing alarm for low voltage: Replace batteries or charge
Li-ion battery.
Automatic Self-Leveling
1. Switch to ON to work. The pendulum automatically aligns a position within the range of self-leveling
range ±4°.
2. Laser beam starts to blink and an alarm sounds when the instrument is out of the self-alignment range. In
this case, place the instrument on flat surface, adjust tripod or base legs until blinking and sound stops.
Pendulum Lock
3. Switch to LOCK mode to allow constructing inclined planes.
4. Two laser lines are not always constructed as orthogonal in the mode of crossing lines.
5. Self-leveling is disabled when laser level is under LOCK mode.
Maintenance and service
6. Do not attempt to open the instrument. To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance
and adjustment must be performed by authorised service centres. The warranty is void if the instrument is
opened. To locate your nearest service centre, contact your dealer.
7. Do not drop, knock, or shake the instrument as this may affect its precision.
8. Remove the batteries when the instrument is not in use.
9. Keep the instrument clean at all times. Use a soft cloth with mild soap for body, and lens tissue for glass
windows.
10. Do not expose the instrument to sunshine for long periods.
11. 4.2 V/1.5 A power adaptor work with 3.7 V Li-ion battery. Power adaptors can connect to instruments direct-
ly to work as a power supply.
12. Never use the DC charger to charge alkaline batteries. Remove alkaline batteries when using the DC charger
to supply power.
