SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Before installation or maintenance ensure that the main supply
to the downlight is switched off and the circuit supply fuses
are removed or the circuit breaker turned off.
2.
A qualified electrician MUST be used for the installation of this
downlight
3.
This downlight must be installed to the current edition of the IEE
wiring regulations and relevant building regulations in your country.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Test the downlight before installing for an correct operation.
2.
Cut a suitable hole in the ceiling as per the cut-out details ensuring
that it does not interfere with electrical cable, water/gas pipes or
ceiling joints. (img. 2)

Carefully fold back any insulation material so as to allow at least
50mm free circulation of air.
4.
Remove the terminal cover on the driver by removing the screws,
inserting a screwdriver into the front gap and prizing back the cover.

DIMMING
The downlight comes as standard with dimmable loop in loop out LED driver
that allows the user to regulate the light output to best suit their lighting needs.
PLEASE NOTE:
•
The driver can be used with the most trailing and leading edge dimmers,
though this is not guaranteed.
•
Please examinate carefully the manufacturer's guide on the dimmer
switch you intend to use and check the compatibility.
•
In some cases you may need to change your dimmer if the unit flickers
or does not dim smoothly.

Check that the total load of the circuit, including when this down
light is fitted, does not exceed the rating of the circuit table, fuse of
circuit breaker.

This downlight is designed for indoor and outdoor use and is fire rated.
6.
Do not cover the downlight with insulation materials.
7.
Make sure that 50mm above and around the downlight is free airflow.
8.
The downlight should not be installed within 50mm of any joints.

Connect the main cable into the terminal block ensuring correct
polarity is observed and that if stranded cable is used that all
strands are terminated. (img. 4)
6.
Re-fit the terminal cover securing the mains cable under the cable
clamp.
7.
Place the loop in loop out driver through the hole and into the
ceiling cavity. (img. 5)
8.
Fit the downlight into the hole in the ceiling with the 2 spring
clamb bent back. (img. 5)

BEZEL REPLACEMENT
Alternative color bezels are available. The downlight has magenetic
surface, to change the bezel click very easy another bezel on the
downlight.
