INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Read these instructions carefully before using the charger.
• Do not disassemble the charger if you are not authorised to do so.
• O nly charge the 18500 li-Ion rechargeable batteries recommended by Wiha
Werkzeuge GmbH (article no. 599001).
• Do not expose the charger to rain, damp or heat. The charger will no longer
function outside the recommended ambient temperature range (0 °C–40 °C)
due to the thermal protection function.
• D o not use the charger on easily flammable surfaces, such as paper or
textiles, or in flammable surroundings.
• Keep the charger clean.
• Store the charger out of children's reach.
• Children and persons who are not able to use the charger safely due to their
limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or
knowledge must not use it unsupervised or without instruction by a responsible
person.

Instructions
1. Plug the charger 2 into the USB port 4 to connect to the power circuit. The
charge level indicator 1 first flashes red briefly and then lights up green,
telling you that the charger is ready for operation.
2. Now insert one or two rechargeable li-ion batteries in the battery
compartments 3 as required.
Note: Ensure the polarity is correct by checking the symbols (+ and -) in the
battery compartments; the charge level indicator will flash red if batteries are
inserted incorrectly.
3. The charge level indicator will light up red if the batteries are charging.
4. It will change to green once the battery is charged.
