Setting up and aligning the base cabinet (⌦A)
1. Place the base cabinet in the desired position.
2. Align the base cabinet horizontally using a spirit level.
‧ Ensure the stability of the base cabinet. We recommend the EHEIM aquarium base cabinets available in specialist
shops.
‧ A stand can be used for horizontal alignment. Ensure that the stand rests fully on the surface.
Setting up the aquarium (⌦B)
WARNING! Personal injury or material damage.
The aquarium must not be transported or carried when in its filled state.
CAUTION! Material damage.
No foreign bodies, mats or bases must be placed between the aquarium and base cabinet.
▶ Thoroughly clean the top side of the base cabinet and the lower side of the aquarium base.
▶ Remove any foreign bodies, mats or bases.
1. Place the empty aquarium incl. lower frame a on the base cabinet.

Commissioning

▶ Heed the operating manual for the EHEIM classicLED LED light, EHEIM thermocontrol aquarium heater and the EHEIM
aquaball interior filter, especially the chapters on safety, commissioning, operation and maintenance.

1. Prepare the appliances as described in the relevant operating manual.
2. Remove the cover from the aquarium from above (⌦C).
3. Install the appliances on the inner side of the aquarium as described in the relevant operating manual (⌦D).
Installing the EHEIM classicLED LED light e
1. Install the LED light holder as described in the relevant operating manual.
2. Connect the profile strips d to the short sides of the aquarium (⌦D). For this, pay attention to the installation direction of
the profile strips (⌦E).
3. Place the LED light with the LED holder in the profile strips (⌦F).
4. Place the cover onto the aquarium from above.
Laying the cables (⌦G)
1. Feed the appliance cables through the corresponding openings f in the cover to the outside.
