Unpacking and setting up the machine
1. Supply schedule
•
Unpack the machine carefully and check it for any possible transport
damage. Report any such damage to the carrier immediately.
•
The carton should contain the following:
– the impressBIND 280,
– these operating instructions.
•
Store the packaging material at least until the end of the warranty
period.
2. Removing the transport lock
•
Place the machine in the upright position.
•
Press the transport lock
on the base of the machine.
•
Remove the transport lock from the lever and keep it in a safe place.
3. Opening out the document supports
•
Carefully place the machine back in the horizontal position.
•
Move the binding lever
•
Fold the two document supports
The machine is now ready to use.
