Backrest adjustment **
Pull up the locking lever to release the
backrest catch. When releasing the backrest
catch, do not apply load to the backrest by
pressing against it.
By exerting pressure on or off the front or rear
part of the seat pan it can be moved to the
desired position. Release the locking lever to
lock the backrest.
It should not be possible to move the
backrest into another position after it has
been locked.
When the backrest is folded forward,
fluted metal locking devices on either side –
left and/or right – protrude from the bottom of
the backrest and, during the adjustment
procedure, can cause shearing and crushing
of the body of the person performing this task.

Lateral isolator * **
Under certain operating conditions, it is useful
to activate the lateral isolator. This means
that lateral shock impacts can be better
absorbed by the driver's seat.
The cushioning effect can be activated with
the help of this locking lever.
1 Lateral isolator ON
2 Lateral isolator OFF
Swivel *
The swivel is released by pulling the locking
lever. The seat can then be swivelled by 20°
to the right or to the left. It can be locked into
position at steps of 10°.
WARNING. Risk of accident!
Do not operate the locking lever for
swivel while driving.
After the adjustment, the locking lever
must latch into the desired position with an
audible click. It should not be possible to
move the driver's seat into another position
when it is locked.
