Cleaning the surfaces
Danger due to electric shock! Disconnect
the extractor hood from the power supply by
pulling the plug out of the socket or by
switching the fuse off. When cleaning, make
sure that no water penetrates the device.
Timely cleaning of the surface saves the later
laborious
removal
contamination.
Only use conventional detergents or univer-
sal cleaning agents for cleaning suitable for
stainless steel/aluminium and glass. Never
use abrasive cleaning agents or steel wool.
After cleaning the hood, please treat the
stainless steel surfaces with a care product
for stainless steel.
Only clean painted surfaces with soapy water
and a very soft cloth.
Clean the glass front (halogen) with a
conventional glass cleaner and wipe with a
soft cloth.
Cleaning/dismantling the metal
filters
Fire hazard! The performance of the extractor
hood is reduced by grease residues and
the fire hazard increases. In order to prevent
a fire hazard, please make sure to clean the
of
stubborn
metal filter regularly (see „Grease filter
cleaning indicator"). Clean the filters every
two weeks at the latest.
Grip the metal filter by the handles with both
hands and pull down until the magnet
contact releases. The metal filter can now
be removed downwards. Installation takes
place in reverse order.
The metal filter is best cleaned in the
dishwasher using a gentle dishwashing
agent.
The manufacturer shall not assume any
guarantee whatsoever for any discolouration
caused by the use of aggressive
dishwashing
agents.
exceeding 55 degrees must be avoided in
all cases.
Caution: Do not use three-phase cleaning
agents or clean the filter in a commercial
dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive
agents
such
as
trichlorethylene, etc. leads to destruction of
the filters!
Re-insert the metal filter after cleaning and
turn in clockwise direction to tighten using
both hands.
Activated carbon, see separate instructions!
