4. Avoid installing the gas detector near the following sources: direct airflow caused by wind, fans, open doors
or windows, steam sources, vapors, etc.
5. The wires must have the correct size and color to avoid wrong connections. A wrong wiring connection can
have repercussions in the event of an alarm caused by gas leaks.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Choose the right place to install the gas detector. Follow the installation instructions.
2. Power the gas detector to a 230V power source. The green LED lights up. The red LED will flash for about 3
minutes indicating initialization of the sensor. At the end of the initialization you will hear a confirmation sound
and the sensor will enter the normal operating mode. The green LED stays on throughout operation.
3. If the detector detects a gas leak, the red LED and yellow LED flash and the built-in siren will emit a repetitive
sound. The gas detector will send an impulse to the solenoid valve which will cause the gas supply to be
interrupted. The gas detector will return to its initial operating state after dispersing the gas or refueling it.
4. If the yellow LED is lit, it indicates an internal sensor error. Turn off the power and contact a service center.
SELF TEST
To test an installed gas detector, you can spread a little lighter gas in the air at a distance of 5 cm from the gas
slots of the detector. CAUTION: Frequent testing may reduce the sensitivity of the sensor. The detector will
interrupt the alarm and return to normal operation, after the gas density drops below the alarm level.

PROCEDURES TO FOLLOW IN CASE OF ALARM

The gas detector enters the alarm state if the gas density in the room exceeds the minimum alarm level (20%
LEL).
Proceed as follows:
1. Close the gas supply valve immediately
2. Open the window and let air into the room
3. Turn off any fire and do not use anything that could cause a fire, such as lighters, matches
4. Avoid turning on any electrical equipment
5. Try to find the exact place where the gas leak takes place and immediately notify the specialized institutions
or a qualified person
WARNINGS
1.
The gas detector must be installed and connected correctly.
2.
The gas detector must be powered by a 230V power supply.
3.
Test the detector for operation every six months.
4.
For various reasons, such as changing environmental conditions, power outages or fraudulent operation
of the electronic system, the product may not work properly. The user is advised to take all precautions
regarding his safety and his goods.
