Button, switch and port functions
NOTE: Button functions may vary per game.
Power switch - Turns the device on and o .
Power port (5V IN) - To power the Pocket Player™ with a Micro-USB cable (not included).
Headphone port - To listen with 3.5 mm headphones (not included).
Volume buttons - To raise and lower the volume.
START button - To start / pause game.
SELECT button - To select in game.
Directional pad - To select game from main menu and move during gameplay.
First time use
1. Remove the battery covers on the back of the handheld.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries and replace the battery covers.
3. If you do not want to use batteries, gently insert the Micro-USB end of a Micro-USB cable
(not included) into the power port (5V IN) located on the top of the console. Gently insert
the other end of the cable into a powered USB port. When using this option, you do not
need to add batteries.
4. Move the power switch from o to on.
Sleep mode power saving
Please note this device is equipped with sleep mode to preserve battery life and will turn o
after 10 minutes of inactivity. Once reset, you will be directed back to the main menu and
lose game progress.
