Calibrating the pH meter
Watch the How-to videos at Aqua Master Tools' website.
1. Press the On/off button to start the meter.
2. Press the MODE button to switch to pH on the display.
3. Gently clean the electrode with distilled water and dry it off.
4. Insert the meter in an upright position in pH buffer solution pH 7.01
(make sure this is 25 ºC or 77 ºF) and stir gently.
5. Wait until the value on the display is stable.
6. Press and hold the ºC/ºF / CAL button for 5 seconds until the value
of the buffer solution is displayed. The meter will automatically
recognise the buffer solution and calibrate itself. As soon as the
meter switches back to the standard mode, calibration is complete.
7. Gently clean the electrode with distilled water and dry it off.
8. Repeat the process with pH 4.01 buffer solution.
9. It is important to follow the above process order, always start
calibrating pH 7.00 and follow with pH 4.01.
10. Carefully clean the meter after this process.
11. Calibration is completed and the meter is ready for usage when all
steps have been completed.
