3.7 To operate the product

Adjust the parallel guide to an applicable position.

Hold the product firmly with one hand on the main
handle and one hand on the front handle.

Put the front edge of the base plate against the
workpiece.
• For operation at 0° angle align the line for 0° with the
line for the cut.
• For operation at 45° angle align the line for 45° with
the line for the cut.

Make sure that the cutting blade does not touch the
workpiece or other objects.

Push the lock button on the left or the right side of the
handle.

Carefully push the power trigger to start the product.

Wait until the cutting blade has the maximum speed.

Carefully move the product forward through the
workpiece.
• Push the base plate against the workpiece and move
the product forward smoothly.

Release the power trigger when the cut is completed.
3.8 To do a plunge cut

Lift the lower blade guard.

Start the product.

When the cutting blade touches the workpiece,
release the lower blade guard.
3.9 To stop the product
● Make sure that the cutting blade is stationary and that the
lower blade guard is in closed position before you put the
product down.

Maintenance
Warning! Use eye protection and protective gloves.
Warning! Only let an approved service center do
repairs.

4.1 To do daily maintenance
● Make sure that all screws and nuts are fully tightened.
● Clean the product after operation.
● Make sure that the product is sufficiently lubricated.
Spray an applicable lubricant on all moving parts if it is
necessary.
4.2 To replace the blade
Warning! Disconnect the battery from the product.
Warning! Use protective gloves to prevent injuries
from the cutting blade.

Push the spindle lock (A) and carefully turn the
cutting blade until the spindle lock engages. (Figure
8)

Loosen the blade screw with the supplied hex key.

Remove the blade screw (B), the washer and the
blade flange (C).

Push the lever for the lower blade guard (D) up and
move the lower blade guard to the end position.

Replace the cutting blade with a cutting blade of an
applicable type.
• Make sure that the indicator for the direction of
rotation points in the same direction on the cut-ting
blade and on the product (E).

Install the blade flange, the washer and the blade
screw.
7
Push the spindle lock and tighten the blade screw
with the hex key.
4.3 To clean the product
Caution! Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
This can cause damage to the plastic parts of the product.
Caution! Do not clean with water or other liquids.
● Clean the casing with a soft brush or dry cloth. If the dirt
is not easy to remove, use a moist cloth and a mild
detergent.
● Clean the ventilation openings with compressed air or a
vacuum cleaner.
● Let the product become fully dry before operation.
